a less girly craft.
i think if anybody did this they’d find it interesting at the end. i find myself holding onto movie tickets, receipts for special items or meals, and don’t always want to tape them into a notebook or necessarily put them in easily readable display. this seems like a great solution to my scrap hoarding without taking up space or creating clutter.
with dedication, a line of mason jars on a shelf that hold years of paper memories. had a bad year? burn it on the next new year.
Add memories, thoughts, plans, and accomplishments to a jar throughout the year. Open it on New Year’s Eve and read through them.

Step one: Blow up a balloon.
Step two: Soak any piece of cute cloth or lace in wallpaper glue.
Step three: When putting the cloth on the balloon, make sure the sides overlap each other so it stays formed once balloon is gone. Let dry overnight.
Step four: Pop the balloon, attach string, hang!
my mom made this costume, and wore it dutifully every year until about six or seven years ago.
